Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lay And (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Nobunaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyo Nobunaga is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
And scores with a one two! Nobunaga had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
And connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Nobunaga moves into range and clinches up with And.

Nobunaga manages to pull guard.
And wants to control from the top but Nobunaga keeps moving.
Nobunaga looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Nobunaga uses the cage to get back to his feet.
And lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by And.

Nobunaga takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
And misses with a two punch combination.
And tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Nobunaga rushes And and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Nobunaga turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
And is looking to reverse the position.
Nobunaga wants to lay and pray for a moment but And keeps working.
And could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nobunaga tries to stand but And is controlling his head.
And being controlled for a moment.

And is trying to control Nobunaga's posture but Nobunaga avoids it.

Nobunaga working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And can't do much from the bottom here.

Nobunaga swings around for an armbar but And sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nobunaga's guard.

Nobunaga trying to keep a closed guard but And is proving a slippery customer.

And postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And wants to control from the top but Nobunaga keeps moving.
And is pushing down on Nobunaga's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nobunaga is fighting to maintain full guard but And has managed to sneak the leg through.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And is looking to take a break and control but Nobunaga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lay And dominated that round.

And ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Nobunaga gets in close and instigates a clinch.

And fails to pull guard.

Nobunaga sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but And is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And tries to buck Nobunaga off but Nobunaga is having none of it.

Nobunaga stands up and we're back to a striking position.
And dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Nobunaga has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nobunaga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nobunaga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
And passes Nobunaga's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nobunaga is breathing heavily.
And trying to control the action but Nobunaga is working from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nobunaga goes for an armbar but he's not got it… And turns into him and now he's in Nobunaga's guard.
And throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And looking to sit in guard and control but Nobunaga gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And looking to control.

Nobunaga gets to his feet. And looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nobunaga takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
And looks to land a combination but Nobunaga avoids it well.
And ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
And lands with a nice combination. Nobunaga backs away looking to recover.
Lay And is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
And lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
And cracks a nice hook into Nobunaga's ribs.
And scores with a three punch combo!

And digs a good hook to Nobunaga's body.
And scores with a hook to the body. Nobunaga takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Nobunaga looking to score a takedown here. And is defending well but Nobunaga drives through and ends up in And's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
And bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nobunaga's guard.

And is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nobunaga has managed to free his arm - good work.
And throwing shots but Nobunaga is blocking nicely.
Nobunaga wants to control but And is keeping busy and won't allow it.

And is looking for a kimura but Nobunaga is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for And to get the leverage.
And frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nobunaga is looking to escape.

Lay And overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Nobunaga is squirming around, avoiding And's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nobunaga is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
