Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshi ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ian Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toshi ba!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
ba looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fish is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by ba.

and ba counters by moving into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Fish's face as he tries to break the clinch.

ba gets control of Fish's arms and successfully pulls guard. ba will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Toshi ba wasn't active enough on the ground.
ba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Good standup being displayed there by Fish as he connects with a hook.

ba tries to clinch but Fish is having none of it.
Fish defends well against a solid takedown attempt from ba.
Horrible takedown by ba or perhaps it was just good defense by Fish which made him look bad.

ba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ian Fish dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


ba takes one on the chin but seems OK.
ba shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fish but Fish pushes him off and we're back to square one.
ba slips under a jab from Fish.
Fish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fish lands a straight punch to the body, keeping ba at a distance.
ba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fish avoids it really well and circles away.
Fish throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and ba makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Fish really felt that one!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

ba stalks Fish and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fish's face. Fish staggers backwards, shaken.

Fish pulls out of a head kick attempt.
ba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fish takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

so ba counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
ba throwing strikes but missing.
ba trying to control but Fish is working from the bottom.

ba stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Toshi ba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Toshi ba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

ba shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fish defends it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fish scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but ba manages to mount him!

Fish is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
ba looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

ba has hold of Fish's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fish manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ba tries to control but Fish wriggling away.
Fish's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Fish is trying to stand but he's just given ba his back.

ba lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Fish looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - ba's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Fish holding both ba 's hands and preventing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I think ba has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
