The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManus closes the distance and clinches up with Wall, looking for a takedown. McManus pushes Wall against the cage but Wall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wall swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McManus has a takedown stuffed.
Horrible takedown by McManus or perhaps it was just good defense by Wall which made him look bad.
Johnny Wall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor McManus.

Wall dives in and scores a takedown into McManus's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

McManus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wall is aware though and is defending well.
Wall controls from within his opponent's guard.
Wall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McManus on the ground.

McManus has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wall should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McManus has tightened it up now! Wall should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
