Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunn Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Tharis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Show comes to the cage accompanied by Real American. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunn Show!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Tharis!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Show checks a leg kick.
Show fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tharis manages to avoid it.
Show comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Show throws a sloppy head kick and Tharis moves out of range easily.
Show misses with the combination.
Show throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tharis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Tharis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Show avoids it really well and circles away.
Show throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tharis was covering up waiting for the punch and Show finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tharis has a closed guard, preventing Show from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tharis controls Show momentarily but Show frees himself.
Show chips away with some ground and pound.
Show avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tharis is on top in guard.
Show on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Show tries to get out of the position.
Tharis passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tharis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ground and pound from Tharis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Tharis tries to score with some ground and pound. Show controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Show tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Show sneaks back into half guard.
Tharis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Show does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tharis trying to pass the guard but Show defending well.
Show trying to control but Tharis postures up.
Show blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tharis.
Tharis not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Show trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Tharis manages to pass to mount!
Show tries to lock up and control but Tharis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tharis has control of Show's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Show regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tharis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tharis lands a heavy elbow.
Tharis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Show can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tharis postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Show badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Tharis around the waist but Tharis pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Tharis is the winner by TKO! Tharis jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Tharis!
