The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simomaa rushes Gaist and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Simomaa is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Gaist lands a nice shot to the body.
Gaist swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Nice elbow from Simomaa.

It looks like Outair Gaist has been cut.
Simomaa prevents a body shot from Gaist.
Simomaa lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Simomaa gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That has opened up Outair Gaist's cut even more.
Gaist takes an elbow to the forehead.
Simomaa creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gaist's defenses.

Outair Gaist's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Outair Gaist's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
