Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marc Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Ray Okudja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Anderson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RAWR. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okudja tried to score with a low kick but Anderson checks it.
Okudja ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away.
Okudja misses with a low kick as Anderson jumps back.

Anderson dives in and scores a takedown into Okudja's guard.
Okudja is pulling down on Anderson's head. It's preventing any offense from Anderson, at least for the moment.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Okudja keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Ray Okudja hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Okudja counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Anderson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Anderson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Okudja doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Okudja manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Anderson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
