Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Jameus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luter Wafles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wafles throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jameus counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jameus moves to clinch but Wafles breaks away

and Wafles counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Wafles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jameus slips a jab and a cross from Wafles.

Jameus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wafles on his heels. He'll look to pass Wafles's guard now, I'm sure.
Jameus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wafles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jameus pushes down on Wafles's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wafles can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wafles bucks up and throws Jameus to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wafles breaks from Jameus's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wafles has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jameus's face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wafles lands with some strikes.
Wafles tries to control but Jameus wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jameus is looking to improve his position but Wafles isn't that keen on the idea.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Luter Wafles hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Wafles stalks Jameus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jameus's face. Jameus staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Kevin Jameus has been cut.
Luter Wafles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wafles fails to land with a series of punches.
Wafles lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wafles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wafles lands in his opponent's guard.

Jameus gets tackled into the cage by Wafles. Wafles maintains the clinch.

Wafles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wafles lands a jab-cross combination.
Wafles connects with a combination that backs up Jameus into the cage. Wafles lands a flurry of punches that gets past Jameus's guard. Jameus is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Wafles bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
