Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrey Fokin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Bass!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fokin to the mat! Fokin manages to get full guard.
Fokin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bass is aware though and is defending well.
Bass is working Fokin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bass lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Fokin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fokin has momentary wrist control but Bass slips an elbow through the middle.

Bass chips away with some ground and pound.
Bass postures up and lands a big shot to Fokin's brow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bass wants to control from the top but Fokin keeps moving.
Bass lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bass is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Fokin wants to sweep here but Bass controlling him for the moment.
Fokin is breathing heavily.
Fokin has momentary wrist control but Bass slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bass loads up on a big left hand. Fokin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bass looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Fokin can't hide his disappointment, as Bass celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Bass!
