Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, THROW MONEY. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machida shoots in and bounces Stone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stone pulls Machida in close to his closed guard and prevents Machida from doing any damage or advancing position.
Stone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Machida thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Machida postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it.
Stone wants to stand and escape but Machida is having none of it.

Machida is looking for a triangle but Stone pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Machida lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stone!

Machida is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Stone has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Stone!

Machida has his foot on Stone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stone works his way back into a safe position though.
Stone wants to control from the top but Machida keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rocky Stone just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Machida shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Machida was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stone is in a horrible position here. Machida smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Stone is desperately trying to improve his position but Machida has a good base and remains in mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Machida there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Machida has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Machida walks into a stiff left hand from Stone.
Stone slips a jab from Machida.
Stone lands a nice hook to Machida's body. Machida takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Machida shoots in but Stone avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Machida takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Stone thuds a left hand into Machida's body.
Stone comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Machida darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Well, with Machida on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Stone is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Machida cracks Stone with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Stone from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Magnus Machida has got the better of the ground game so far.

Machida is working for a rear naked choke. Stone is not defending it well and Machida has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Stone refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Stone's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
