Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oakley Bark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique -- Point of No Return. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bark's choice of entrance music: Bring Um Out. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John McClane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oakley Bark!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bark gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
McClane lands a nice uppercut.
McClane lands with a left to the head.
Bark tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
McClane lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bark backwards.
Bark tries to pull guard but McClane won't allow it.
Bark tries to pull guard but McClane holds him up against the cage and eventually Bark drops back down to his feet.
John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oakley Bark.
McClane lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bark.

McClane manages to break the clinch.
McClane misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from McClane does no damage.
Bark shoots in looking for a takedown. McClane tries to sprawl out of it but Bark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McClane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McClane stuffs the takedown attempt from Bark. Bark gets slowly back to his feet.

Bark drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McClane is trying to control Bark's posture but Bark avoids it.
Bark moves into full mount!
McClane manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McClane lands a couple of sideways elbows.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McClane has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bark is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McClane missing with punches from the bottom.
McClane is looking for a sweep. Bark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are battling for position here. McClane manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
McClane keeping full guard, as Bark tries to pass.
McClane manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McClane looking to control but Bark is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bark wants to control but McClane is having none of it.
Bark is trying to escape the mount.
Bark is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McClane connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bark is trying desperately to improve position.
McClane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

McClane is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bark has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bark takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
McClane scoring with strikes but Bark is staying in there.
Bark gets back to half guard.
Bark trying to control but McClane postures up.
McClane winds up and cracks Bark with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
McClane working the head and body with strikes.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McClane lands a nice short elbow.
McClane is breathing heavily.
McClane prevents Bark from improving his position.
McClane is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bark works his way to full guard. Good work.

Bark throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bark passes the guard and advances to mount!
Bark postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McClane looks a forlorn figure.
McClane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McClane tries to get out of the position.
McClane keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bark with good strikes from the mount here!

Bark is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but McClane is surviving well by controlling Bark's body position as best he can.
McClane tries to reverse the position but Bark maintains control.

Bark swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McClane is now in Bark's guard. A big mistake from Bark there, giving up the dominant position!
McClane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bark on the ground.
McClane landing with the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bark is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McClane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bark's head.

Bark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McClane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McClane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bark had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McClane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bark Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McClane's back instead.

Bark is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. McClane defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bark is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. McClane is defending well though. Bark let's go of the attempt for now.
McClane tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oakley Bark dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


McClane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McClane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bark showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McClane.
Bark shoots in for a double leg but McClane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McClane drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

McClane gets to his feet - Bark follows without any prompting.
Bark shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and McClane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oakley Bark.

Bark looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
McClane looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Bark wants to improve his position but McClane is controlling well.

Bark actively working from the bottom here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bark works his way to full guard. Good work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McClane is sitting in close to Bark's body. Bark has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McClane is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McClane is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bark.
