Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Byrant Jerome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sou Saluki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerome comes to the cage accompanied by Birthday sex-Jeremih. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saluki stuffs the takedown.
Jerome throws the kick towards the body but Saluki avoids it.
Jerome throws a head kick but Saluki moves out of range.

Saluki gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jerome has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saluki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Saluki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Saluki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jerome is looking to escape.

and Saluki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Saluki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jerome doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Saluki.
Jerome is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Saluki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jerome manages to get to full guard.
Saluki tries to free his leg and advance position but Jerome is retaining full guard.

Saluki has gone for a leg lock! Jerome slips out almost immediately though and dives into Saluki's guard.

Saluki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jerome tries to pass the half guard into mount. Saluki knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Sou Saluki dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Saluki avoids the head kick by Jerome.
Jerome throws a right hand that misses
and Saluki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Horrible takedown by Saluki or perhaps it was just good defense by Jerome which made him look bad.
Saluki has a takedown stuffed.
Jerome tries to clinch but Saluki is having none of it.
Saluki scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Saluki shoots in and drives through. Jerome sprawls well.
Byrant Jerome has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sou Saluki.

No luck for Saluki with that takedown attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jerome - that will leave a mark!

and Saluki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jerome's guard now.

Saluki passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Saluki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jerome knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jerome looks to move to half guard but instead Saluki has passed into mount! Damn!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Saluki trying to control but Jerome is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jerome is trying desperately to improve position.

Saluki goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jerome is on top in guard.

Saluki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jerome is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Saluki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jerome's back instead.
Jerome is in bad spot here.
Saluki lands strikes to the head.
Jerome is really stuck here.

Saluki is looking for a choke. Jerome gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Jerome manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Saluki scores with a hook to the body. Jerome takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jerome pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jerome tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Saluki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jerome is refusing to be controlled, as Saluki sits in half guard.

Jerome had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Saluki is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jerome Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Saluki's back instead.

Jerome is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Saluki with him. Saluki is trying to defend but Jerome has an arm under the chin now! Saluki grimaces and is forced to tap out!
