Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tap Out!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out is trying hard to land a takedown here. Richardson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Richardson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Out tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Richardson swivels and escapes.
Out shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richardson defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tap Out. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Out closes the distance and clinches up with Richardson, looking for a takedown. Out pushes Richardson against the cage but Richardson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Out shoots for a takedown but Richardson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Out fails to land the takedown.
Out avoids the body shot from Richardson.
Out shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richardson pinned against the cage. Richardson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Out.
Out shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Out will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

enabling Richardson to counter with a crisp jab.

Richardson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Out.
Richardson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Out.

Richardson stuffs the takedown.
Out fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Tap Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Out shoots for a takedown but Richardson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Out displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Richardson throws out the jab.
Richardson takes a swing at Out's ribcage but misses.
Nice takedown defense from Richardson. No joy for Out on that attempt.
Out fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Richardson avoids it really well and circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Out has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Out closes this distance looking for a takedown but Richardson circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Richardson enables Out to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Richardson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Out might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Out's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Out scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Out is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Out passes Richardson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Out is nestled in close to Richardson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Richardson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Richardson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Out. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Out is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Richardson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
