The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dickson tries to bum rush Waters with a series of wild strikes but Waters uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dickson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Waters misses with a shot to the body
letting Dickson counter with a right hand.
Waters throws out a powerful jab.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Dickson.
Dickson is putting a hurting on Waters here, landing some big shots from side control.

Dickson decides to stand back up. Dickson steps back and let's Waters get back to his feet.

Dickson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Waters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dickson but Dickson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dickson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Waters is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dickson unloads with some shots from mount but Waters bucks and avoids them well.
Dickson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waters on the ground.

Dickson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Waters moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Waters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dickson pinned against the cage. Dickson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Waters thows a body shot but no joy.

Waters throws a lazy right hand but Dickson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Waters throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Waters lands with a cross.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Waters.
Waters shoots in looking for a takedown but Dickson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Waters's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Waters misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Waters swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dickson counters with a three punch combo that has Waters backing up. Waters nods at Dickson to acknowledge the strikes.

Waters tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dickson was well out of range. Poor timing from Waters.
A cross from Dickson lands.
Dickson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Waters shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dickson sprawls well. Dickson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Waters gets slowly back to his feet.
Waters looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dickson is fending him off so far but Waters persists. Nope, Dickson circles away and we're back to standing.
Waters misses with a takedown
and Dickson counters with a left and a right that stings Waters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Waters lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dickson at a distance.
Dickson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Waters.
A looping hook to the body misses from Waters. Dickson does a little dance to reset his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Waters connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dickson. Dickson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dickson lands a hook that stumbles Waters back into the cage. Dickson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Waters to the canvas! Dickson pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Waters has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
