Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Z Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mann's entrance music is Birdland. A fine choice. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Morton!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mann looks to throw the jab but Morton is out of range.
Mann missing with a left hand there. Morton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Morton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morton sprawls well. Morton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mann gets slowly back to his feet.
Mann pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morton tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Mann counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The fighters circling - Mann throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The fight stays on the outside here - Morton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mann shoots in looking for a takedown. Morton tries to sprawl out of it but Mann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Carl Morton has been cut.
Mann drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Morton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mann pushes Morton up against the cage in a clinch.
Morton managing to block the knees to the body from Mann.
Morton stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Mann is looking to control Morton's arms but Morton gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mann has his back to the cage.

Mann tightens his grip and picks Morton up, before dumping him to the ground. Morton manages to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Morton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mann is controlling him.
Mann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mann loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mann passes Morton's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mann not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mann lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mann is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morton defends it well.

Mann is trying to control the action in half guard but Morton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mann looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Morton wants to control but Mann is keeping busy.
Mann wants to pass the guard but Morton is defending well.
Mann looks to land a strike but Morton avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Morton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
