Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickhard Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Silvain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem - You Don't Know ft. 50 Cent, Cashis, Lloyd Banks. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Silvain.
Danga de danga de dang - Smith scores with a four punch combination!

That has opened up Tiago Silvain's cut even more.
Smith checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Smith misses the jab.
A nice leg kick lands there from Smith.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Smith keeps the fight on the outside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith misses with a head kick.
Silvain tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good shot there by Smith.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith throws a head kick that Silvain semi-blocks.

The cut above Tiago Silvain's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Silvain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith ducks right into an uppercut from Silvain.

It looks like Rickhard Smith has been cut.

Smith feints and as Silvain raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silvain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silvain wants to stand up but Smith is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Silvain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Silvain pushes Smith off and scrambles back to his feet.

Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Silvain tries to reverse the position but Smith maintains control.
Smith scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Silvain?

Tiago Silvain's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tiago Silvain's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
