Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jp Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolando Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar comes into the arena with I'm a Catholic girl... blaring out of the sound system. Garcia has chosen Sound And Fury - I've Got Rabies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jp Greywar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rolando Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greywar fails with the takedown
and Garcia counters with a left to the body.

Garcia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Garcia lands in his opponent's guard.
Greywar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Garcia wants to sweep but no luck.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garcia avoids the head kick by Greywar.
Garcia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jp Greywar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolando Garcia.
A looping hook to the body misses from Garcia. Greywar does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Greywar counters with a head kick. That will keep Garcia thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Greywar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garcia manages to avoid it.

Greywar misses with a kick to the body.
Garcia misses with a hook. Greywar ducked under it nicely.
Greywar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Garcia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Greywar napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Greywar is trying to improve his position.
Garcia works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Greywar tries to improve position but can't.

Garcia has hold of Greywar's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Greywar seems comfortable defending it but Garcia has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Greywar is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Greywar is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Garcia couldn't care less - he's delighted!
