The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ivanov shoots in for a takedown but Pike shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ivanov closes the distance and clinches up with Pike, looking for a takedown. Ivanov pushes Pike against the cage but Pike circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pike walks into a left hand.
Ivanov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Pike counter with a right hand.
Pike misses with a hook.

Ivanov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pike moves away.
Aleksander Ivanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Pike.
Pike fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pike looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pike throws an overhand right that lands on Ivanov's shoulder, as Ivanov tries to avoid the shot.
Ivanov scores with a decent looking hook.

Pike throws a chopping leg kick but Ivanov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Pike bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ivanov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
