Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ren Rothschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loui Te Kuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loui Te Kuri!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Kuri misses with a series of wild punches.
Te Kuri throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rothschild uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Te Kuri.
Te Kuri shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rothschild doesn't manage to clinch there - Te Kuri circles away.
Ren Rothschild seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Te Kuri circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rothschild changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Te Kuri looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Te Kuri wants to control but Rothschild postures up.
Rothschild has hold of Te Kuri's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Te Kuri tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rothschild cranks the arm and Te Kuri screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Te Kuri, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ren Rothschild!
