Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amos Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Aurelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelio wants to clinch

and Black counters with a takedown into side control.
Black throwing strikes but Aurelio manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
You can see the frustration on Black's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Aurelio tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Aurelio wants to stand but Black has his arm trapped.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Black can't do much from the bottom here.

We're going to have a standup here because Amos Black wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Aurelio lands a big head kick that sends Black tumbling to the mat! Aurelio takes a step backwards and waves Black back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Amos Black has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aurelio tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Black gets tackled into the cage by Aurelio. Aurelio maintains the clinch.
Black has Aurelio pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Aurelio manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Aurelio can't find room to land a body shot as Black controls the action.
Black takes an elbow to the forehead.

Aurelio gets underhooks to prevent Black's takedown attempt.
Knees in the clinch landing for Aurelio.
Aurelio is working Black over against the cage.
Black is breathing heavily.
Aurelio lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Aurelio lands a hook to the side of the head.
Aurelio prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amos Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
