Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gretarsson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pouko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gretarsson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gretarsson misses with a hook.
Gretarsson has Pouko up against the cage in a clinch.
Pouko fails to pull guard.
Pouko ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pouko no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Gretarsson throws a strike but Pouko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Gretarsson tries to strike from the bottom.
Pouko trying to control the position from guard on top but Gretarsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pouko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Gretarsson moves into full guard.
Pouko wants to pass the guard but Gretarsson is keeping the position.

Gretarsson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Gretarsson looking for a sweep. Not yet Gretarsson, not yet.
Pouko tries to free his leg and advance position but Gretarsson is retaining full guard.
Gretarsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pouko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Petur Gretarsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Touko Pouko.
Pouko shoots for a double leg takedown but Gretarsson sprawls well. He's pushed Pouko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pouko looks gassed!
Pouko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gretarsson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pouko on the side of the head.

Petur Gretarsson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gretarsson throws a jab when Pouko was well out of range.
Pouko walks straight into a right hand from Gretarsson - that's dropped him! Gretarsson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Pouko from any more punishment! Pouko complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Petur Gretarsson!
