Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aarons misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aarons misses with the combination.
Aarons pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Barakus back to the cage. Aarons follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


It looks like Kj Barakus has been cut.

Barakus looking to score a takedown here. Aarons is defending well but Barakus drives through and ends up in Aarons's guard.
Aarons is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Barakus wants to control from the top but Aarons keeps moving.
Barakus throwing strikes but missing.
Barakus throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Aarons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Barakus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Barakus dives in and grabs Aarons's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aarons pushes down on Barakus's head and hops out.

Barakus throws a strike but Aarons rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Aarons wants to stand but Barakus is controlling his posture from full guard.

Aarons wants to stand and escape but instead Barakus has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Aarons keeping moving, preventing Barakus from controlling successfully.
Barakus prevents Aarons from getting back to his feet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barakus's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Barakus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aarons is working an open guard so Barakus takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Barakus shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barakus showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Aarons's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Aarons feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Barakuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Barakus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aarons was covering up waiting for the punch and Barakus finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aarons will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Aarons is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Aarons on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aarons tries to get out of the position.

Barakus is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barakus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Barakus with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Barakus content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Aarons wants to get back to his feet but Barakus passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Barakus seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Aarons is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
