Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Casey!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams has managed to clinch.

Adams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Adams rushes Casey and presses him up against the cage.
Adams unloads a knee to the mid-section. Casey lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Adams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Casey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adams's waist but Adams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Casey off to one side.
Adams is looking to clinch.
Adams leaves Casey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Casey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Adams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adams wants it to stay on the feet.
John Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Casey.

Adams lands a left and a right that sends Casey crashing to the canvas! Adams dives into mount looking to finish!

Casey is rocked!

It looks like Billy Casey has been cut.

Adams is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Casey is still on wobbly legs! Can Adams finish him?

Adams pushes Casey up against the cage in a clinch.
Adams blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Casey tries to break the clinch but Adams is controlling the position.

Adams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Casey seems to have recovered his senses.
Adams tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Casey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Adams looks to land a combination but Casey avoids it well.
Adams throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Casey crashing down! Casey tries to stagger back to his feet but Adams just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Casey asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
