The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hallsteinn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Warhawk's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Warhawk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hallsteinn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hallsteinn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hallsteinn is working Warhawk over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hallsteinn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hallsteinn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

It looks like Broly Warhawk has been cut.
Hallsteinn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
