Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Todd Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivgeny Chumakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to THE COMMODORES-MACHINE GUN. Chumakov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Little Wing - SRV. Ivgeny Chumakov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivgeny Chumakov!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chumakov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ivgeny Chumakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Chumakov with that takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chumakov.
Chumakov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Todd Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivgeny Chumakov.
Chumakov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Parker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chumakov on the side of the head.
Chumakov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chumakov, right into the meat.
Parker dodges the punch combination from Chumakov.
Chumakov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Horrible takedown by Chumakov or perhaps it was just good defense by Parker which made him look bad.
Chumakov tries to close the distance and clinch but Parker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Parker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Chumakov closes the distance and clinches up with Parker, looking for a takedown. Chumakov pushes Parker against the cage but Parker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Chumakov dives in and grabs Parker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes down on Chumakov's head and hops out.

Chumakov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chumakov will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chumakov throws a head kick that misses.
Chumakov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Parker rushes Chumakov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chumakov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parker walks away with a smile on his face. Chumakov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Chumakov throws an off balance right hand
and Parker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chumakov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Parker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chumakov misses with a takedown attempt
and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Parker digs a good hook to Chumakov's body.
Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chumakov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Parker drives through and clinches with Chumakov against the cage.
Parker lands a left hand.
Parker prevents a takedown attempt there.

Parker lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Parker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Chumakov tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Parker!
