PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nathan Mir was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Mir!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin dodges the punch combination from Mir.

Carwin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Carwin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mir rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carwin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mir throws a leg kick but Carwin sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Mir throws a right hand that Carwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Carwin also avoids with ease.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carwin, as that shot connected.
Mir throws a nice looking combination but Carwin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
