Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spider Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Stumps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stumps tried to score with a low kick but Man checks it.
Stumps displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Man enables Stumps to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Man manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Man keeping moving, preventing Stumps from controlling successfully.
Man bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stumps's guard.
Stumps is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Stumps manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man manages to get himself to full guard.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stumps gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Man controls Stumps momentarily but Stumps frees himself.
Stumps wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Stumps is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Stumps is working Man over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Stumps has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stumps defends well.
Stumps keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Man's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stumps drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Stumps off! Stumps jumps back into Man's guard.

Man had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stumps defends it easily.

Man is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stumps defends well.

Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stumps doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stumps manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stumps wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving.
Man trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Stumps looking to sit in guard and control but Man gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Stumps controls Man momentarily but Man frees himself.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stumps swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stumps trying to keep a closed guard but Man is proving a slippery customer.
Man loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Man looks to throw the jab but Stumps is out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Stumps as Man shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spider Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stumps rushes Man and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stumps lands a shot to the body.
Man is trying to drag Stumps to the mat but Stumps just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Man looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Stumps pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stumps is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Stumps circles away and we're back to standing.
Stumps jabs Man to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Stumps lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stumps, as that shot connected.
Malcolm Stumps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A head kick by Stumps - that's a beauty! Man is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Stumps can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
