The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Williams slams his shin into Bernados's torso.
Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Bernados counters with a single leg into guard. Williams didn't expect that.

Bernados drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Williams manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bernados has Williams in his guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Shane Williams wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bernados steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Williams. That one must have hurt.

Bernados is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Williams is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Williams has escaped and now he's on top!
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bernados. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
