PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Benjy Bronk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Tyler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bronk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tyler has his foot on Bronk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bronk works his way back into a safe position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jake Tyler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
