Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Nygaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justino Cordobes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nygaard comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygaard fails with a takedown attempt.
A good leg kick by Cordobes.
Cordobes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nygaard takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nygaard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nygaard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nygaard looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nygaard throws some wild stikes that Cordobes manages to avoid easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Nygaard there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Cordobes tries to lock up and control but Nygaard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sebastian Nygaard just wasn't active enough.

Cordobes throws a head kick that Nygaard semi-blocks.
Cordobes throws a front kick aimed at Nygaard's knee but Nygaard avoids it well.
Cordobes throws a sloppy head kick and Nygaard moves out of range easily.
Cordobes swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Cordobes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nygaard checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Nygaard closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cordobes did well to prevent Nygaard getting side control.
Cordobes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nygaard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nygaard sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Nygaard takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nygaard seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cordobes for as long as he can get away with.

Nygaard's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A head kick misses from Cordobes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cordobes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nygaard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nygaard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cordobes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nygaard to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Nygaard drops back looking for a leg! Cordobes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cordobes manages to kick Nygaard off! Nygaard jumps back into Cordobes's guard.
Nygaard slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Cordobes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
