Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fausu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Felt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Felt is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Fausu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Felt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fausu takes the fight into the clinch.
Felt is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fausu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Fausu tries to circle away but Felt has him pinned against the cage.
Felt dodges an elbow strike from Fausu.
Felt prevents Fausu from breaking the clinch.

Felt is trying to trip Fausu. He has hold of a leg but Fausu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Felt persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Felt engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Fausu is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Felt is controlling him.
Fausu lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Felt!
Fausu tries to control but Felt wriggling away.

Felt wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Felt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fausu trying to control but Felt is having none of it.
Felt is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Fausu is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Felt trying desperately to get to his feet.
Felt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fausu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fausu has control of Felt's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Felt regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Felt is trying to stand up.

Felt bucks up and throws Fausu to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Fausu pushes Felt up against the cage in a clinch.

Fausu jumps guard.

Fausu tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Felt controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fausu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Fausu wants to stand and escape but Felt is having none of it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fausu leaves Felt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Felt feints and as Fausu raises his hands in defense, Felt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Felt is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like Felt might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Joe Felt wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fausu closes the distance and clinches.
Fausu wants to stall.
Fausu looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Felt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Fausu taking punishment in the form of punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fausu wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Felt is staying tight to Fausu's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Felt was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Fausu rushes Felt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Felt gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fausu regains guard.
Felt slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Felt has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fausu jumps into guard, dragging Felt to the mat.

Felt stays in close to Fausu's body and controls the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Felt was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Fausu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fausu looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Fausu wants to stall.

Fausu has hold of one of Felt's legs. Felt is fighting the takedown attempt but Fausu gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Felt has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fausu off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Fausu throws a head kick that misses.
Fausu falls off balance throwing a combination

and Felt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fausu won't be happy with that.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Felt controls the position.
Felt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Felt has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fausu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Joe Felt has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Felt is stalling in the full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joe Felt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fausu gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Felt lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Felt seems content to control.

Fausu tries to kick Felt off but Felt keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Felt trying to mount his opponent but Fausu defends it.
Felt not doing much here.
Joe Felt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joe Felt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Felt shoots in looking for a takedown but Fausu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Felt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tommy Fausu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Joe Felt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Felt winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
