Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rainn Hewitt!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Mehoff!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mehoff lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mehoff throws a body punch but Hewitt moves out of range.
Mehoff misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hewitt misses the shot to the body.
Hewitt scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Jacques Mehoff has been cut.
Hewitt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hewitt misses with a head kick.
Hewitt throws a sloppy head kick and Mehoff moves out of range easily.
Mehoff fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mehoff avoids the head kick by Hewitt.
Hewitt scores with a kick to the midsection.
Mehoff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hewitt circles away quickly and effectively.

Mehoff misses with a head kick.
Hewitt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mehoff manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hewitt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A solid body kick from Hewitt.
Mehoff connects with a body shot that sends Hewitt's belly button to the back.
Jab, jab by Hewitt - just one landing.
Mehoff takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
No joy there for Hewitt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mehoff on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hewitt. Hewitt obviously looking to wear him down.
Mehoff chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Mehoff on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mehoff looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hewitt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hewitt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hewitt throws a wild body kick that Mehoff sees coming a mile off.
Hewitt misses with a kick to the body
and Mehoff makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hewitt tries to work over Mehoff's front leg with a kick but Mehoff checks it.
Hewitt gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Hewitt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hewitt throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hewitt throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hewitt tries a low kick but Mehoff avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hewitt misses the shot to the body.
Mehoff pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hewitt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mehoff walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hewitt punishes Mehoff's body with a nice straight punch.
A head kick misses from Hewitt.
Hewitt throws a head kick that misses.
Hewitt lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mehoff avoids the head kick by Hewitt.
Mehoff lands a head shot.

Hewitt goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mehoff takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mehoff is rocked!
