Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harri Hippi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hippi's entrance music is Harry Hippy. A fine choice. Douglas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocky's Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hippi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hippi thuds his right hand into Douglas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hippi throws a good cross that connects.
Hippi cracks Douglas with a good jab.

Douglas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Douglas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hippi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Douglas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Douglas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Douglas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hippi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hippi connects with a solid leg kick.
Hippi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hippi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Douglas tries to move into range but Hippi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hippi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Douglas.
Douglas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hippi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Douglas tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Donk. Hippi catches Douglas right on the button with a cross.
Hippi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Douglas at a distance.
A left lands for Hippi.
