Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Vinicios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marius Vinicios!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinicios shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
Vinicios looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Vinicios misses with a head kick.
Silva misses with a takedown

and Vinicios counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
Vinicios just content to control the position.
Silva pushes Vinicios away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vinicios gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Silva sneaks back into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is trying to control but can't.

Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Vinicios looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Silva tries to kick Vinicios off but Vinicios keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
No luck for Vinicios with that takedown attempt.
Randy Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Vinicios.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vinicios will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vinicios accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva pushes Vinicios off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Vinicios counters with a takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vinicios's best efforts.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are battling for position here. Silva manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Vinicios stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marius Vinicios dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Vinicios looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Vinicios is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position.
Vinicios passes the guard and advances to mount!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marius Vinicios showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Vinicios tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage.

Vinicios has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Vinicios is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva is working for takedown but Vinicios is calmly controlling the position for now.

Vinicios feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Vinicios is now in half guard.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Vinicios is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vinicios not doing much here.
Vinicios wants to take a breather but Silva is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Vinicios passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silva!

Marius Vinicios comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vinicios has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
