PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harald Loe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Vondrachek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loe comes to the cage accompanied by Gluicefer - I got a war. Petr Vondrachek told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Loe.
Vondrachek throws out a loose jab but Loe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Loe takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Vondrachek moves out of range as Loe strikes.
Vondrachek lands a right hook to the body.
Vondrachek throws a series of punches but Loe moves out of range.
Vondrachek tries to work over Loe's front leg with a kick but Loe checks it.
Vondrachek misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vondrachek lands with a hook. Loe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Both fighters circling a little - Loe finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Vondrachek is trying to push Loe away but Loe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Loe throws a leg kick but Vondrachek sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Vondrachek swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Vondrachek counters with a series of strikes. Loe will be more careful next time no doubt.

Loe shoots in and gets a takedown into Vondrachek's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Vondrachek pulls Loe in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Petr Vondrachek was stalling too much, according to the referee.
