The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laihaila misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hirmuinen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Laihaila has taken the fight to the clinch.
Laihaila is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Hirmuinen has hold of one of Laihaila's legs. Laihaila is fighting the takedown attempt but Hirmuinen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hirmuinen has gone for a leg lock! Laihaila slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hirmuinen's guard.

Hirmuinen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Laihaila doesn't defend quickly enough and Hirmuinen has managed to lock this one up! Can Laihaila escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hirmuinen on a fantastic submission victory.
