The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart missing with a left hand there. Holyshit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Holyshit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hart. That did some damage!
Holyshit fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Holyshit tries to land a front kick but Hart steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hart paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hart shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Hart tries to control but Holyshit wriggling away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hart is pressing down on Holyshit's thigh, looking to free his foot. Holyshit is holding on for now.
Holyshit is looking to improve his position.
Holyshit is trying to maintain the position but Hart is very close to passing his half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The strikes coming from Hart are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Holyshit's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hart connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Holyshit scrambles back to his feet.
Holyshit fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hart is out of range.

A slow jab from Holyshit misses its intended target.
Hart takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Nice defenses there by Holyshit.

Holyshit turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Holyshit lands a nice looking body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holyshit swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hart.
Hart tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Holyshit punishes Hart's body with a nice straight punch.
Hart shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holyshit pinned against the cage. Holyshit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Holyshit finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hart throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Holyshit slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Holyshit throws a leg kick which misses Hart's front leg but catches the back leg as Hart tries to avoid it.

Holyshit throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hart is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Holyshit wants to control but Hart is keeping busy.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Holyshit does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
