The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brave is looking to land body kicks.
Brave throws a head kick that misses.
Brave takes the fight into the clinch.
Brave lands an elbow inside.
God of Thunder tries to pull guard but Brave holds him up against the cage and eventually God of Thunder drops back down to his feet.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Brave obliges.
God of Thunder goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brave prevents it.
Brave stops a takedown attempt from God of Thunder.
Rod Brave has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thor God of Thunder.
Brave scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Thor God of Thunder has been cut.
Brave can't find room to land a body shot as God of Thunder controls the action.
God of Thunder drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brave gets the underhooks and prevents it.
God of Thunder looks gassed!
God of Thunder jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brave walks away with a smile on his face. God of Thunder gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
God of Thunder gets caught napping as Brave dives in and scores a takedown. God of Thunder manages to retain guard.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Brave chips away with some ground and pound.
Brave stopping the sweep attempt from God of Thunder.
Brave passes God of Thunder's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Brave passes to full mount!
Brave can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as God of Thunder is looking to escape.
Brave controlling the pace for now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Brave softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and God of Thunder is out cold! Brave jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
