Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Borges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason the warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). the warrior has chosen afro brazzilian music as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borges is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by the warrior.
the warrior changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borges tries to avoid it but the warrior manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borges to the ground. Borges escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

the warrior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Borges lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

the warrior is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Borges to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Borges shrugs it off.

the warrior is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Borges has managed to escape the submission attempt.

the warrior has hold of Borges's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Borges manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
