Tahere is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black & Yellow (G-Mix)). Tahere has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tahere stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tahere wants it to stay on the feet.
Yardy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tahere counters with a good, hard body kick but Yardy shrugs it off.
Yardy avoids the head kick by Tahere.
Tahere misses with a kick to the body
and Yardy counters with a straight right hand.
Yardy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tahere circles away quickly and effectively.

Yardy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Yardy throws a strike aimed at the side of Tahere's head but Tahere avoids it well.
Yardy landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Tahere takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Tahere looks gassed!
The ground and pound from Yardy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Yardy lands some shots froms side control.
Tahere takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tahere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yardy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tahere is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yardy throws a strike aimed at the side of Tahere's head but Tahere avoids it well.

Yardy cracks Tahere with a big elbow.
Yardy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tahere down.
Yardy creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Yardy has hold of Tahere's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tahere tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Yardy cranks the arm and Tahere screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tahere, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
