Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leon Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocko Robles!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins moves away from the strike by Robles.
Robles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hopkins.
Hopkins fails with a takedown attempt.
Robles looks for the body kick but Hopkins saw that one coming.
Hopkins tries to land a leg kick but Robles saw it coming and moves away.
Hopkins punishes Robles's body with a nice straight punch.
Robles stuffs the takedown attempt from Hopkins. Hopkins gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Hopkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hopkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hopkins checks a low kick from Robles.
Hopkins closes the distance and clinches up with Robles, looking for a takedown. Hopkins pushes Robles against the cage but Robles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hopkins moves out of range of the leg kick from Robles.
Hopkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Robles sprawls well. He's pushed Hopkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Robles throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Robles scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Leon Hopkins has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robles swivels and escapes.
Hopkins is breathing heavily.
Hopkins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hopkins somewhat.
Robles's corner calls for a 1-2. Robles obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Robles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hopkins.
Hopkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robles avoids it really well and circles away.
Robles fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Robles throws a leg kick that misses.
Hopkins fails with a takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Robles is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Robles scores with the left hand. Hopkins knows he should have avoided that one.
Hopkins is rocked!
Robles circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hopkins to the canvas! Hopkins doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Robles keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
