Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jun Fan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago Rua has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thiago Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Fan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rua tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rua.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Lee connects with a high kick.

It looks like Thiago Rua has been cut.
Rua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Rua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rua drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Rua is breathing heavily.
Lee taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lee lands a damaging elbow.
Lee scores with a knee to the head.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
Lee is looking to slow Rua down with leg kicks.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Lee and Rua are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Lee throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Rua into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Lee knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
