The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Face.

Face gets tackled into the cage by Kane. Kane maintains the clinch.
Kane tries a body shot but Face blocks it.
Kane lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Face misses with a knee to the head.
Kane tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Face throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from Kane - that landed with a thud.

Kane manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A frustrated look appears on Face's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Kane breaks the clinch.
Kane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kane cracks the inside of Face's front leg.
Face looks gassed!

Kane looks for the body kick but Face saw that one coming.
Kane blocks a leg kick.
Kane throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kane connects with a body shot.
Kane lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Face's sensitive parts.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Face takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Kill Face has been cut.

Kane scores with a head kick. Face tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kane pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Face manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Face has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kane.

Kane looks for the body kick but Face saw that one coming.
Nice body punch from Kane.
Kane tries to clinch but Face is having none of it.
Kane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kane lands a head kick!
Face waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kane.
Face takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Face has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Face on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A head kick misses from Kane.

Kane feints and then cracks Face's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Face down.
Kane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kane throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kane throws a sloppy head kick and Face moves out of range easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kane.
Face takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kane scores with the left hand. Face knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kane.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kane.

Face's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Ron Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Face's sensitive parts.
Kane throws a head kick but Face moves out of range.
Kane fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Face has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kane works over Face's head and body with a nice combination.
Kane dips to his left and cracks Face with an uppercut!
Kane throws a shot from downtown. Face moves away and avoids it.
Kane lands with a good body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane lands a jab to the nose.

Face is rocked!

That has opened up Kill Face's cut even more.
Kane looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Kane backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Face's temple! It sends Face violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Kane celebrates and the doctors try to help Face!
