The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Esteves moves away.
Esteves misses the shot to the body.
Esteves throws a front kick aimed at Wells's knee but Wells avoids it well.
Wells will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wells lands a jab to Esteves's midsection.
A nice inside leg kick there by Esteves. That's going to slow Wells down.
Raul Esteves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Esteves gets a clinch.
