Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grant Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gogaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gogaga has chosen Judas Priest - The Ripper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger Gogaga!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gogaga turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gogaga lands a right hook to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gogaga tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Gogaga looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gogaga tries to circle away but Morris has him pinned against the cage.
Knees to the body from Gogaga.
Morris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gogaga pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Gogaga is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Gogaga manages to break the clinch.
Gogaga lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morris circles away quickly and effectively.

Gogaga has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gogaga.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Gogaga lands a body punch in the clinch.

Morris tries a body shot but Gogaga blocks it.
Gogaga lands a left hand that snaps the head of Morris backwards.
Gogaga comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Gogaga is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Morris is keeping busy.
Morris blocks an elbow strike.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Morris as Gogaga tries to tie him up.
Gogaga tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Morris avoids it.
Morris taking a breather.
Morris trying to control the position but instead, Gogaga has worked for underhooks and has pushed Morris into the cage.

Morris tries a body shot but Gogaga blocks it.
Gogaga lands with a light punch inside.
Morris prevents Gogaga from breaking the clinch.
Gogaga scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gogaga has Morris pushed against the cage.
Morris stalling in the clinch but Gogaga improves position.
Gogaga misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Morris.
Gogaga lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Morris backwards.

Morris has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gogaga is trying to keep an underhook but Morris manages to get the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Gogaga is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morris pulls his head out easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gogaga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morris is working away from the top position though.
Gogaga is staying active underneath Morris, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Morris wants to pass to mount but Gogaga is defending the position.
Gogaga landing small, sideways elbows.
Gogaga wants to get back to his feet.

Gogaga is defending against the submission attempts here by Morris.
Gogaga wants to get back to his feet.
Morris tries to pass to full mount but Gogaga defends it.
Gogaga tries to get to full guard but Morris has control of the leg.
Morris has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Morris trying to control but Gogaga is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Morris prevents Gogaga from getting the reversal.

Morris wants to finish this one by submission but Gogaga is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Morris.
Gogaga is looking to get to half guard.

Morris is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gogaga can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gogaga gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roger Gogaga dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Gogaga moves into the clinch.
Gogaga is trying to break the clinch but Morris is controlling him.

Morris gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Morris seems content to control.
Gogaga is looking to get back to is feet but Morris passes into side control.
Gogaga is looking to get back to his feet here but Morris is keeping cool and he's managed to take Gogaga's back.

Morris is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gogaga defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gogaga holding both Morris 's hands and preventing any damage.

Gogaga defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Morris's arms.
Gogaga trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Gogaga looking very determined here, making life difficult for Morris.
Gogaga is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Morris off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Gogaga is trying to stand back up.
Gogaga is really stuck here.

Morris is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gogaga has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gogaga looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Morris is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Gogaga is defending well though. Morris let's go of the attempt for now.
Gogaga is keeping busy.

Morris is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Gogaga has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Morris has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Gogaga taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Morris doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Grant Morris!
