Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip to be Square. Bombom is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombom pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bateman is out of range and Bombom settles back down.

Bombom has Bateman up against the cage in a clinch.
Bateman pushes Bombom back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A nice left hand lands by Bateman.
Bateman utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Bombom looks gassed!
Bateman is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bateman lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bombom.

Bateman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bombom thows a leg kick but Bateman checks it
enabling Bateman to counter with a crisp jab.
Bateman throws a push kick but Bombom slaps the foot to one side.
Bateman lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bombom will feel that in the morning.
Bateman tries to score with a low kick but Bombom moves his leg out of the way.
Bateman misses with a looping right.
Bateman slips under a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bateman loads up on a big right hand but Bombom slips the punch.
Nice uppercut there from Bateman.
Bateman throws a combination. Bombom tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bateman lands a leg kick that knocks Bombom off balance momentarily.
Bombom scores with the left hand. Bateman knows he should have avoided that one.
Bombom walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bateman misses the jab.
Bombom does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bateman lands with an uppercut that bounces Bombom off the cage and back into rage.
Bateman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bateman swinging wildly here.
Bateman cracks Bombom with a hook to the temple - Bombom is on wobbly legs here! Bateman swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bombom falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Bateman wins by TKO!
