The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arts doesn't manage to clinch there - Barnett circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Arts looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barnett shoots in but Arts avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Arts gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Barnett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Arts's guard now.
Barnett passes Arts's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Arts blocking the ground and pound attempt from Barnett.

Barnett is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Arts might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Barnett is looking for a kimura but Arts is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Barnett to get the leverage.
Barnett passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Arts!

Barnett has control of Arts's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Arts regains control of the situation pretty easily.
