Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earp with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Earp avoids a punch combination nicely.
Martin throws a right and a left that Earp avoids nicely.
Earp throws a solid leg kick but Martin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Earp.
Virgil Earp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Earp scores with a head kick. Martin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Frank Martin has been cut.
Martin tries to clinch up but Earp circles away and keeps his distance.
Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Earp tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Earp to the ground. Earp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Earp is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martin.

Earp creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Martin's defenses.

Martin avoids a wild elbow strike from Earp.
Earp tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Earp gets through Martin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That has opened up Frank Martin's cut even more.

Earp stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Earp misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Martin.
Earp tries to land knees in the clinch but Martin avoids the damage to the body.

A nice right hand lands inside from Earp.
Martin is rocked!
Earp throws a punch but it's blocked by Martin.
Earp pushes off an throws an elbow but Martin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Earp finish him?

Earp has Martin pressed against the cage. He pushes Martin back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Earp throws a beautiful elbow that sends Martin crashing to the floor! Earp piles on the pressure with more strikes! Martin is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
