The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palhares gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lee.
Decent striking displayed by Palhares there.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Palhares won't let Lee get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Palhares tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Palhares has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lee is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Palhares has control of Lee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Palhares throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lee because Palhares loaded up on that one.

Palhares working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lee turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Palhares off and cradles Lee's limp body as Palhares celebrates with his corner.
