Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Plocka Bananer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bananer comes to the cage accompanied by HIT LIKE A MAN. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson throws a poor cross that misses
and Bananer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bananer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bananer shoots in but Dawson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dawson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dawson throws a right hand that misses
enabling Bananer to counter with a crisp jab.
Dawson misses with a straight right.
Dawson throws a right hand that Bananer ducks under and follows up with a left that Bananer also avoids with ease.

and Bananer counters with a nice body shot.
Mike Dawson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dawson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
