With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sean Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lener tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lener tries to land a leg kick but Thompson saw it coming and moves away.
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Thompson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lener.
Thompson throws a nice looking combination but Lener bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lener shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thompson pinned against the ropes. Thompson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lener uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thompson.
Lener takes a swing at Thompson's ribcage but misses.
Thompson shoots in for a double leg but Lener sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Thompson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lener bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thompson's head backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lener is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
